Updates

  • I have started converting the warband, magic, and hired sword data to a JSON format instead of plain text, you can find it here, there should be no difference in rules but I am still working on it. The hope is that since it will be in JSON format, rosterbuilders can import this data. Warning very much WIP, see below the cut for details of open issues
  • Added the Nipponese Expedition warband to 2a by @Krakatoa. This warband has been playtested thouroughly by the SoCal Mordheim group and given multiple rounds of feedback in the Mordheim Discord #homebrew channel.
  • Updated the Cursed Cavalcade to a new pdf made by members of the Mordheim Italia group.
  • Cleaned up the wounding sections for the shooting and the close combat pages. and consolidated the injury page.
  • Added a Base Size Guide
  • Updated the Rhinox and Temple dog with their shared rules (Skull of Iron, Staggered, but not down, warband rating).

Bugs/QOL fixes

  • Updated all the 2a warband special items to get the nice border around them
  • Minor fixes to 1b Arabian Tomb Raiders
  • Changed all back end gold cost to integers instead of text strings, variable cost is now stored as #D6, or D6 x #, with an average of 3.5gc per D6
  • Made warband and model caveats filter-aware (you won't see "beastmen only" when selecting beastmen in the filter), splitting up caveats should fix some missing info on the warbands
  • Cleaned up custom TOC code
  • @Luftwaffle found an issue in the Shadow Warriors Shadowbind spell where it was using info from the original town cryer, and not the 2002 Annual
  • @thagsimm0ns found a whole bunch of typos, among which a very old one in the Art of Silent Death FAQ
  • Core warband skills were listed as 1a

Updates

  • I have added the fantastic campaign "The Procession of Morr" by Tyler from GetTabled, of course this has nothing to do with the fact I am planning to run this campaign myself in a couple of weeks, oh no...
  • Added the Nipponese Expedition warband to 2a by @Krakatoa. This warband has been playtested thouroughly by the SoCal Mordheim group and given multiple rounds of feedback in the Mordheim. Discord #homebrew channel.
  • Updated the Cursed Cavalcade to a new pdf made by members of the Mordheim Italia group.
  • Cleaned up the wounding sections for the shooting and the close combat pages. and consolidated the injury page.
  • I have started converting the warbands from plain-text, to json files, test them out here

Bugs/QOL fixes

  • The big fix for this update, since @servo-scribe got a faster host, my equipment tables broke 😅, the equipment renders after navigating to the page so if the page loads faster than the data, it doesn't scroll to the item. Anyway, long story short, there's now a retry in place.
  • While I was at it, fixed the category headings in the skill list
  • Added the links for all hired sword and Dramatis Pesonae to their source PDFs on Broheim
  • The lizardmen had their sacred markings listed with a points value instead of gc in their original town cryer entry, changed to gc for clarity, thanks for pointing it out @Griff
  • Added prepare shot and move or fire to the swivel gun as per the original pdf, this was found by, who else: @Boatswain
  • Moved the lustrian reaver special equipment to the main database
  • Updated all the 2a warband special items to get the nice border around them
  • Minor fixes to 1b Arabian Tomb Raiders
  • Changed all back end gold cost to integers instead of text strings, variable cost is now stored as #D6, or D6 x #
  • Made warband and model caveats filter-aware (you won't see "beastmen only" when selecting beastmen in the filter), splitting up caveats should fix some missing info on the warbands

Updates

  • I have added a flowchart to the Pirates special recruitment/capture mechanic, should be easier to follow than the long wall of text. Feel free to let me know on Discord if any other rule or section could benefit from a flowchart.
  • I have included a handy reference @Tomek made on what a warrior is and isn't allowed to do when injured, recovered, or fleeing.
  • The FAQ section has been converted to a JSON database, allowing in-page searching with keywords.
  • Some warbands such as kislevites have unique items that they may purchase later in the campaign. I have started pulling these back into the warband sheet for extra clarity. They are pulled from the same data source as the item pages and trading post so if there are any mistakes/typos, I only have to update them once.
  • I rewrote the entire House Rules section. Instead of a list of incoherent house rules, I have seperated them into sections of what they are trying to address, including context and risks of going overboard. This will hopefully force people to think first before they implement everything in one go.

Bugs/QOL fixes

  • Added a clarification to fists, thanks @Emberwing
  • Added a reminder to the Lustrian Reaver max warband size about the fact the Beastmaster War Beasts also count
  • Added a reminder to the restless dead choice of warriors about the Bone Goliath
  • @Markus prompted me to add an errata to Dijin Katal, the original material had an upkeep of 40 which is directly contradicted by the Wanderer rule...
  • Re-added the Town Cryer numbers in the scenario list, also fixed some layout issues in some of the scenarios themselves.
  • Fixed all equipment anchor links
  • @JordiRS let me know some skill tooltips were not working correctly.

Small update this time around, mostly fixing a major issue with the new pages having lost their anchors.

Updates

  • Moved warband lore sections inside collapsable blocks.
  • Added a slider in the trading post to show items up to a selected rarity.
  • Moved the scenarios to subfolders separated by source, instead of one huge list. (PSA: these do not have redirects for broken links so if you have these in your bookmarks, please update them manually)

  • Added missing Sources (mostly 1a items) for items, including rulebook.

I implemented the groundwork from last update in this months release:

Updates

  • Replaced the old skill and item pages with new, filterable versions.
  • Changed psychology, item, and skill hard links to open in Tooltip Popups.
  • Added notes to all text changed due to an official errata. These now show the errata text and link to the source. They can be recognized by a little pencil icon that can be hovered over:✏️
  • Added the FAQ in-line on the pages in the same way with a <-- hover over me! icon.
  • By popular request, we're now differentiating between "core" and grade "1a" warbands, items, skills, etc. All filters have been updated to include this differentiation.
  • Added The Cursed Cavalcade and Court of the Profane Pleasures (though incomplete).
  • Updated Dwarf Slayers (2a) to the latest release (2024).
  • Added all the 2a Hired Swords and Dramatis Personae from Broheim and included their warbands in the filters.
  • Added a link to the small flame template used in the Monster Hunt Scenario.

Bugs/QOL fixes

  • Removed duplicate Hired Swords and Dramatis Personae tables; now they are a single filtered table.
  • Fixed scenario filters on mobile so they no longer cover the full screen and block scrolling the list.
  • Fixed a lot of typos in the encampments section, thanks to @Ironfounder, and @FragmentaryParsnip on Reddit.
